This was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant we wanted to try in the area doesn't open for lunch and I found Emil's on Yelp. The portion sizes were huge, the prices were good, and the service was wonderful. I'd definitely go back.

Super friendly staff and clientele. Very generous portions of delicious food. I had the fish sandwich and my wife had the burger - both excellent. I even got a free shot of liquor offerred to me by them! Plenty of off street parking is available also. I actually liked the old-timey feel of the inside (wood paneling heck yeah!). I'd definitely say it's worth trying out at least once. I know I'll be back.

Wonderful, as always!!  Been coming here at least 30 years.The Chef,Tony has been there longer.He could be a chef at any of the better restaurants in Pittsburgh

Fish Sandwich: One! Two!! Three!!! pieces of delicious, hand-battered, cod on bakery fresh bread. A one-pound ocean delight!

Family took me there. Saw liver & onions on menu so had to order as I so rarely see it on menus. It was fantastic with enough extra for next day. We then took visiting family from CA. They ordered the salmon & loved it. I cant wait to ho back. Prices great. Service good too.
