Very community oriented church. Smaller congregation for folks who want more closeness with the pastor and other church members. Working on growing their membership. Pastor Schultz makes every attempt to be available for his flock. He and his wife lead by example. They talk the talk and walk the walk. Genuine unity.

I had the privilege of attending last Sundays services while visiting in Rapid City. My home church is a small country church and was glad that this church had the same welcoming and caring congregation. I felt right at home. I was equally happy when Pastor Schutz started his message and said to get our Bibles out. His message was right out of the Bible and backed up with scripture. If you are looking for a Bible based church I would definitely attend services here. I know when I make it back to the area I will be attending.

I feel that Emmanuel Baptism Church in Box Elder SD is a wonderful place to worship. I may not agree with everything that is believed there, the basic doctrine, teaching and the issue of salvation is straight from the bible. I have had good experiences every time I have attended. I also think the pastor and his wonderful wife are helpful and easy to talk to. I give it 5 stars!👍

I give a "3" only because the pastor is conceded and snaps back inappropriately when you don't do something that he thinks is aligned with the Bible. Don't get me wrong I agree he's sopose to speak up but NOT disrespectfully. Otherwise, it's a Bible preaching and believing church. I give it that. The people are kind. This helped me give it an extra star actually.
