I kind like atmosphere of this place and overall I like food there. But actually food is sometimes very greasy. Hope their food is consistent to keep health. Other than that pretty good :) you can try once in awhile.

Arrived at Empire Hunan at 6PM and was seated immediately. Service was very good and server was very attentive. Food was excellent and good sized portions. Pork dumplings were delicious and over sized. Definitely coming back.

Why this has such low ratings is baffling. I have eaten at over 300 Chinese restaurants and take out places and Empire is in the top 3 in terms of quality food. The house special fried rice is delectable, their crunchy spicy tuna rolls are sandwich sized bastions of deliciousness... I can only assume they have a lower rating because they are sometimes curt? Who cares! The food is top notch, they deliver and have it ready super fast, and if you actually are friendly they are too. 

Don't listen to these haters, go to this, you will not regret it (unless you are a jerk, then you should probably stay home...)

Figured I'd have some sushi for lunch. Walked in, stepped to counter, waited for an uncomfortably long time for the woman behind the counter to stop scrolling through her phone. I had to say "I'm ready whenever you are", she looked up and said "I'm waiting for you". Mind you the sushi chef was looking at me like "sorry bro". So I put my order in and while waiting for my sushi, I got to witness her yelling at workers very loudly, and also yelling at people over the phone. Just when I didn't think it could get worse, she let out a HUGE BURP and didn't even bother to excuse herself. Sushi was "OK". I'd go back if they fired her, but she must be an owner, can't image anyone that bad as an employee. I'd eat yesterdays supermarket sushi before I ever go back there and give her business. This is the first review I ever wrote, the experience was that bad that I had to.

Best Chinese food in the area. A little pricey but well worth it!!
