Although professional in the job, they changed the price on me before hand. They overcharged me by what they told me. Once refusing service did they actually give me a decent price and one closer to what I have paid to other locksmiths.

So we were stuck in Covina and we needed a locksmith to change some locks at 2 AM. Go figure! We called several companies and received the run around. One locksmith actually said they would be at my establishment in 45 minutes. One hour later we called and the guy was still in Anaheim. REALLY? Anyway, we found Empire Lock and Key on the Internet and called them. Out of 8 companies we called Empire had similar pricing but they FOLLOWED THROUGH AND SHOWED UP ON TIME. The gentleman that showed up (I think his name was Luke) performed a change out and gave us two keys. He was done in 20 minutes. He tested everything twice to ensure everything worked properly. Due to the horrible service in the "24 hour locksmith" community I felt compelled to write this review. The service was impeccable, the price was reasonable, Luke was knowledgeable and fast. If you are looking for a professional company, this is the place. I found out from Luke they do car keys too. I will be using this company from this point forward. What I am really trying to convey is Empire Lock and Key is a diamond in the rough.

Empire Lock and Key saved me in a typical emergency locksmith situation. I locked myself out of my car. They responded very quickly and opened my auto without a scratch. Very professional locksmith. I would recommend to anyone looking for local locksmiths!

Empire Lock and Key is extremely professional and courteous. I have worked with Louk on quite a few jobs and they have remained consistent time and time again with their level of service, friendliness and ability to repair whatever we needed to have done. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and pleasant experience with a locksmith to try Louk and Empire Lock and Key.
