It is my goal to have an exciting, fun, upbeat environment provided to you by some of the best trainers in Santa Barbara county.
The following is my class selection that I am going to begin with. The more input I have from you... the better I can serve you! What do you think should be on the list?
Foundation Training is a safe and effective training program designed to change movement patterns that are hurting you; in the business world and in the performance world. A Foundations-certified instructor will use simple and transformative exercises to naturally heal back pain. Relief begins immediately and there is no equipment needed.
The Functional Senior class is designed for those seeking to improve their overall fitness through functional movement patterns. The goal is to workout at a comfortable pace while performing movement patterns that will help to improve endurance, strength, stamina, and flexibility. The Functional Senior instructor will explain the movement patterns and then will continue to monitor and guide each individual to perfect form. Light dumbbells & body weight will be used in this class.
THE BARR is a fun, safe, body reshaping class based on ballet techniques and drills. A great total body workout that focuses on core & postural awareness and a combination of isolated holds of the arms and legs. Barr is low impact on the joints and is geared toward building lean and long muscles.
SPIN is an exercise class that utilizes fun, upbeat music and spin bikes to create a moderate-high intensity workout. The Spin instructor will keep the workout lively by setting short-term goals within the workout and by utilizing the monitor on the bikes to track RPM, HEART RATE, and RESISTNCE. Bring your chest strap heart rate monitor to achieve optimal results!
Bootcamps are small group classes that implement weight-bearing activity in combination with cardiovascular activities. Bootcamps are most beneficial for those seeking new challenges & learning new skills thus improving overall physical and mental strength. Bootcamp uses dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, barbells, pullup bars, and various cardiovascular equipment.
Personal training is one-on-one training or two-on-one training. It is most beneficial for those seeking a very specific goal & need to be closely monitored. Trainers facilitate a workout that is based on the clients’ individual goals keeping in mind that the workout and workload should be appropriately challenging. People of all fitness levels can have personal training as a part of their workout regimen. The session may consist of body-weight training, weight-bearing activity, resistance training with bands, and the use of cardiovascular machines- the sky is the limit!
