My therapist did an adjustment and told me what to change in my exercise routine in order to provide me more comfort. I think the highlight of my experience there was that he asked me several times if I understood what was going on and why I would be doing the exercises I was. I definitely appreciate knowing why I'm doing an exercise rather than being told to "just do it" because I'm aware of what such exercises are doing to help me. My therapist even emailed me to check in and see how I was doing once I went back to college. My visit to Empower changed my outlook on PT and the overall experience was truly a positive one.

I sustained a neck/back injury over 2 years ago while lifting weights. Prior to Empower PT I tried a handful of chiropractors and acupuncturists, but none of them was able to do more than giving me temporary pain relief, and the only way to keep from re-aggravating the same injury was to significantly compromise the intensity of my workouts. I became so frustrated with not being able to find a lasting cure and living with the constant fear (and pain!) that the injury could be triggered even by the slightest twitch that I seriously considered quitting the gym for an extended period of time just to let it heal. Thankfully a PT buddy of mine talked me into giving physical therapy a try, and that's when I found Empower. Right from the initial assessment, Carlo was able to pinpoint the trouble spots not just from where I was experiencing pain, but also through analyzing my mechanical habits and forms. For the first couple of weeks, he put me on a series of exercise regimens as well as spot pressure treatments aimed to correct imbalances by strengthening muscles that have been long neglected due to poor workout postures. Then based on my progress he would make tweaks to those routines to make sure that I don't plateau. Since I started working with Carlo a little over 2 months ago, not only have I not had a relapse (knock on wood), the constant daily pain in my neck and upper back has been steadily fading, and most importantly I'm still able to hit the gym as hard as I want to! And everyone here is super nice and friendly :) I would definitely recommend Empower PT to anyone!

Without Empower PT I could not have recovered from my knee injuries. Carlo is very professional and takes his patients' discomforts and comments seriously. He is also caring, pleasant and funny. I am very thankful to have Empower PT.

Carlo and his staff are very kind and knowledgeable in their line of work. I had issues relating to knee tracking from a motorcycle-related accident and Carlo showed me to have imbalances in my running. Fast forward two months or so and my knee hasn't complained since. Also, I managed to complete a 12-hour (weighted 40lb) endurance event. Again, no problems with the knee then before I met Carlo. Highly recommend you pay EPTW a visit. These guys know what they're doing...
