I've had two root canals through this office. The first one went okay, the second not so good to say the least. There were scheduling mix ups they tried to say that I had come for my follow up appointment on the wrong day. But I had a card from them with that appointment date and time. I had to wait for about an hour for them to see me on that instance. I believe they cracked one of my teeth with the clamp that they use to keep your mouth open. In addition to that another instance when the clamp slipped off my tooth and hit the opposing side of my teeth. The replacement they put on my tooth has now fallen out twice. I would avoid them if you have the option. I see strictly 5 star reviews for them, but this is probably simply due to them getting patients out of pain from needed root canals.

I recently had two molar root canal procedures within two weeks performed by Dr. Sahar Dadvand.  I can only say that, in my experience, she is the VERY BEST.  Both procedures (three sessions so far) have been COMPLETELY painless.  I actually dozed off several times as she was working, and I was not drugged.  I needed no pain medication at all the day of or the days and nights afterward.  I have had six previous root canals, and the only one that came close to being as painless as Dr. Dadvand's was about three years ago, done by Dr. Patwardhan, another excellent endodontist in this practice.

In adddition, Dr. Dadvand was very attentive to my general comfort, frequently asking if I needed a break or any additional local anaesthetic.  I did not, and we listened to some very nice music for the duration of the visits.  She followed up by texting me the day of and thos following the visit to see how I was diong.  I do not believe I could have made a better choice.

Apoiectomy , best result, lowest price.  I am  seasoned in past mutiple root  canals and apioectomy, long  list of previous reputable dentists and endodontists.   I was ready to pull it, he  consulted with colleagues and said try this first. I was dubious-small mouth, strong bite, tooth grinder,  strange root system, main molar, near nerve follicle and sinewy bands, new crown, failed root canal.  I did the panoramic (insurance did not have cover  it) - it was worth it AND still lowest price over all.  Looks like he saved the tooth and the crown.  Staff professional, smooth, friendly.

Dr. Milan did an exceptional job on my 3-root tooth.  Initially, I was gripping the armrests but ultimately fell asleep during the procedure.  (No pre-medication taken!)  When the numbing medication wore off, I was delightfully void of any pain or discomfort.  As someone who has had many root canals in the past, I highly recommend Dr. Milan for her exceptional ability.

First let me start by saying I rarely write a Google review. To my dismay my dentist in Jacksonville Florida told me that I needed 2 root canals. He gave me referrals to 3 Endodontist and none of them were in the network of my insurance. No problem so I thought. I will just search my insurance directory to find an Endodontist and cross check what I find with Google to narrow my search. That process turned up Endodontist that had terrible Google reviews in Jacksonville. Since I had a week-long trip to Oakland planned, I did the same search and found EndoCare. After reading several 5 star reviews on Dr. Sahar Dadvand, I knew where I wanted to get my root canals done. I walked into EndoCare in Oakland on Monday to get the process started. After confirming with the Oakland office that they will accept my insurance, I was told that they can see me the next day in Orinda with Dr. Dadvand. I told the receptionist that I was hoping I could get an appointment with Dr. Dadvand because I had read reviews that stated she was an Angel. Fast forward to the next day in Orinda. I arrived at the office which was very clean and was greeted by Deb the Office Manager. Once I was in the exam chair I met Dr. Sahar Dadvand. I told her that I was there because I read reviews that said she has Angel Hands and was the best in the business. She smiled and said that I made her day. Dr. Dadvand confirmed that I did need 2 root canals and that I will need to return on Thursday to complete the second root canal. Dr. Dadvand told me that the worst part was going to be the shots to numb the area and she was right. The only pain I had was the shots and that was over in less than a minute. There were two dental assistants that took several x-rays throughout the process. After the first tooth was complete, Dr. Dadvand asked if I could go longer or did I want to return on Thursday to complete the other tooth. Since I had no discomfort, I told her to go ahead and finish. 3 hours after I started, I had 2 root canals done. No pain (except the shots) at all during the entire process.  I can confirm that Dr. Dadvand indeed has Angel Hands and if you need an Endodontist, look no further than Dr. Dadvand.
