The University of Iowa’s Lichtenberger Engineering Library serves the College of Engineering and the Computer Science Department.
The Lichtenberger Engineering Library serves the engineering and computer science students, faculty, and staff as well as assisting all others in finding and using technical information. We have access to over 150,000 technical books, over 3,000 electronic journals related to engineering, standards, hand tools available for checkout, and a plethora of electronic resources.
You have a wealth of online resources with the click of a mouse. Whether you are on or off campus, you have access to many online books and journals. You also have access to databases such as Web of Science, Compendex, and PubMed.
In addition to the wide variety of information resources, the Library is also a great place to study. Many different types of seating are available. Choose to study at tables, in individual carrels, or bean bag chairs, or in a variety of comfy chairs. The options are endless.
