Saving Life & Property Since 1902, the Enid Fire Department is committed to providing superior fire protection to the citizens of Enid.
The Enid Fire Department serves a community of approximately 47,000. We have five stations and 81 uniformed personnel working on 3 shifts. (24 per shift, with 9 staff members). We provide Basic EMS services in a tiered-response system with our private Life EMS provider. We respond to over 4,000 calls annually.
Since the Enid Fire Department was formed by City ordinance in 1902, the mission of the Department has continued to be the protection of lives and property. This mission is divided into two major objectives. The first and foremost is the prevention of personal injury and loss of life and the second objective is the saving of buildings and property.
