We went on a school field trip. Informative, and educational on Ennis History. Nice staff. Cool antiques.

Great place to visit for train lovers! $3 fee for adults but children are FREE!

Open caboose from the MKT.  Your kids can climb on rail stock in Denison and Saginaw unsupervised.  Frisco is tour guided.  In Ennis, this one is open.  Currently it is the best rail museum in north texas until frisco gets theirs finalized.  Well worth the trip.

We got a personal tour from the docent there who was friendly and knowledgeable. This place was educational and engaging  for young and old alike.

Although the museum was small, it was a joy for my kids. They were awed with all the displays. It is very informative. The icing on the cake was when a train came to a full stop right in front of the station and got to wave at the conductor.
