After meeting with Dr. Gilmer several times, it took her a while to suggest surgery. I had my surgery in Deb of 2015 with Dr. Gilmer to supposibly get rid of a polyp that was in my right sinus. The surgery was AWFUL. They gave me way too much anesthesia. I was throwing up SO bad after surgery. My symptoms did not get any better at all. I was still not able to hear, smell, eye was hurting and I just felt terrible everyday. Well, I decided to get a 2nd opinion after about a year of not feeling any better. ENT Jordan Mulder was able to find out what was wrong with me right away. He was VERY direct and overall just wanted to get me better. I had 2 large cyst in both of my sinuses that weren't removed by Patricia Gilmer. Jordan Mulder did my surgery a couple days ago and I already feel like a different person. He removed 2 big cyst in my sinuses. One of the cyst was 3/4 of taking up my maxillary sinus and was causing me not to hear out of my right ear. My surgery was a complete waste of time with Patricia Gilmer but I am so very thankful that Mulder was able to help and get me back to my old self!
