The staff was friendly and accommodating. I was not exactly pleased that there were no other cars on the lot to choose from. The one I rented was suppose to be economy - but it was not - so it was a little small. As I have said in the past from renting many times from the Del Mar Location, their cars are never all that clean - so it is one area they need to improve on as well as having more cars to choose from.

My review just posted was cut off before I was finishing.... I guess if have a lot to say, they just cut & post were you were without finishing.... so I finish here, in part two. I left off with the $19 weekend special. But ran into a problem when I went to pickup the car... the office rep tells me that since they are closed on Jan 1, they cannot enter the return into there system until the Jan 2nd, and in I have would have to pay for the parked car... I showed them my contract, and how they state that they are 1 of 2 locations that offered they after hours checkin, and that the contract would only work on their website if I chose these locations. He say yeh, our corporate has to fix that web page, and you gotta pay the extra day... So I ask to have the special price for Monday, he agrees, an additional $19 plus fees, but it’s still a good price, so its good. I also purchased an AMEX gift card form 10000 points for $100 twards the Enterprise bill. He says great, your bill will be around $90, and we’ll refund you the $10 difference on return. Well this did not happen, instead, he says, the $ 100 card only for base not tax. And you loose your other $ 10 from the giftcard, and have to pay us an additional $10 for the tax. Freaking redicoulouse right, I mean the giftcard is not a gift, I actually pay with my AMEX points. Additional notes, the car I reserved was not available, so was offered an F150 truck, luckily I saw Rogue in parking lot. Took that! And when I returen the car on the 2nd, they were unable to close my contract because they could not find the gift certificate I left them when I picked up the car. The agent said to leave the car, and he would take care of it and call me by 3:00, he doesn’t call until 6:30 the next day. And that’s when he tells me about the cert does not cover tax and you own me $10. Kind of a Screwy giftcard. And service was a jamed, but actually all considered, had a great vacation, still a good deal with the rental, and overall I’m happy, but guys, fix the app that never syncs my rentals, the website bs about after hours dropoffs, the crappy giftcard hoax, not stocking reserved cars, and stafing that can’t agree on what they are doing, making an agents agreement meaningless, and pissing off customers. COMPACT CAR REQUESTED WAS NOT AVAILABLE. REASON, JUST IN THE LAST HOUR THEY HAD MANY RESERVATION, THIS IS GARBAGE; MY RESERVATION WAS THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE. PRICE , COMPARE TO HERTZ, FOR THE SAME EXACT CAR WAS $10.00 MORE PER DAY. THIS WAS NOT JUST THIS TIME, PREVIOUSLY THE SAME OVERPRICE. WHEN I ASKED FOR PRICE MUCH WITH HERTZ, ANSWER WAS TAKE IT OR GO TO HERTZ, MAYBE NEXT TIME I WILL GO TO HERTZ.

The car I got had no washer fluid and old wiper blades. But the customer service in the office was very good. A young man, Kofi, (I think), was excellent.

Worst customer service ever at the Solana Beach location. Young millennials working there with no respect or concern for life long Enterprise customers. Can't get the simplest requests properly answered or accomplished. They've lost me as a customer due to poor attitude, misinformation and a lousy customer experience.
