To describe Cherry Basket and Epicure Catering as exquisite is an understatement. Absolutely everything about this place, the food, and the owners/creators, is phenomenal. As you enter the property, you are instantly drawn in by the historic barns, the fields, and the cherry trees. It is filled with a peacefulness and beauty unique to this location. Cammie is attentive to every detail and has a way to make all feel welcome and like you have known her for years. She is able to make your vision come to life in a relaxed and easy manner. She handles every detail from answering each question you may have to helping serve the food to make sure each thing goes as planned. Andy creates such phenomenal looking and tasting menu of locally sourced food. It is so amazing to watch food being picked from the fields surrounding the farm and even more wonderful tasting such fresh food. Andy was easy to work with as we created a customized menu. Cherry Basket is such a unique and top notch venue that nothing else can compare. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a venue for a special occasion from a wedding to a intimate dinner. There was absolutely nothing we would have changed about our wedding held at Cherry Basket.

We were beyond thrilled with the Cherry Basket team. Together, they truly created the most perfect wedding day, exceeding all expectations. Andy, we have no idea how you made 175 pieces of chicken taste like they were made to order, but it was no doubt the best wedding food we have ever tasted. The vegetables were so fresh and delightful. You really haven't had a tomato until you taste one picked that morning. From the customizable menu to the talented kitchen staff, this venue is farm to table perfection. Cammie, the most responsive, cool, calm and collected coordinator of all time. It was a treat working with her; no ask was too big or too small. Her emails were very timely and always accommodating. We’ll miss her now that the planning process is over! On the day of, the staff was wonderfully respectful, they even made sure we (the bride and groom) knew when our food was served. Thank goodness we didn’t miss out! Consider us part of the official Cherry Basket fan club… our friends and family can’t stop talking about our magical barn venue and beautiful Northern Michigan. Wishing we could relive our day over and over again!

In July 2018, our daughter was married at Cherry Basket Farm. It exceeded all of our expectations. The venue was beautiful, the food absolutely delicious, and the staff attentive. Working with Cammie was a delight. She is so organized and accommodating. I would highly recommend using this venue. All of our guests raved about the wedding from the ceremony to the meals to the end of the night snacks. Everyone had fun--including the parents of the bride.

My daughter was married in August and insisted on a farm wedding. I was very apprehensive about entertaining in this setting because she is a doctor and her husband a corporate professional. Cammie and her staff exceeded our every expectation for an upscale, elegant event. The farm to table theme was executed to perfection. Every guest ended the evening with thanks and praise for the beautiful setting, the fabulous food and drinks, and the exceptional and accommodating wait staff. I would recommend this venue for even the most discrimination group. Thank you Cammie and staff for an event our friends and family are still talking about.
