I have known about Eso Won books store and it's  owners, Tom and James, for years prior to them moving to Leimert Park.
I travel a lot for a living and when I see anyone actually reading a BOOK and not a NOOK, 
I personally go up and tell them how wonderful it is to see "HISTORY", (books and not electronics),  being read in hard back or paperback....
I myself, am an Advid reader,  as well as my family of Educators.
So anytime I want a book of any sort, I'll either go into Eso Won and have Tom or James let me know what's up for today or what's good for next month. If they are not available I call my Girl, Diedra Ware, she is the one that introduce me to Eso Won....

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I went in there and was completely awestruck at the large selection of books. The attic had me starry eyed. We walked around marveling at the decor and the familiarity of all the books on display. Can't wait to go back.

I love patronizing Black businesses that are well ran. Eso Won happens to be just that. They carry a large selection of titles and will even ship items to your incarcerated loved ones.
