My family has been going to Essex for many years. They have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Essex and the company. I got my taxes done here last year and when I told Dr. Essex that I was an accounting major he was quick to give me advice and offer me an internship. He is one of the most generous businessmen that I have met and is extremely good at what he does. The rest of the staff is great too, they greet every client with a smile and really care for them. I highly recommend Essex and Associates to  anyone who needs help with any sort of tax issues, filing their returns, or wealth management; not just because I have had the pleasure of working there but also because I know that it is the best place around and they will exceed your expectations.

Wayne is a professional and an all-around great guy, too. I have enjoyed our association over the years, and always look forward to talking to him and the staff. Service is wonderful and all staff is a joy to work with. I recommend Essex & Associates for all of your personal and professional needs.

Run! Don't use his offices! He cost us well over SIX FIGURES in losses! If you are doing anything beyond simple stuff, RUN! 
We were audited. Everything was wrong. Corporate taxes and personal taxes were wrong. Years 2012-13 were all wrong. EVERYTHING Wayne said would not happen, DID! Most of what he said would happen did not! This was a horrifying experience and we are still correcting all of the mistakes he made. We have refilled everything. We paid him $7500 per year to defend us (this should be covered by us paying for the return as a gurentee of his work in my opinion) AND ALL HE DID IS SHOW UP TO MEETINGS AND PHOTOCOPY HIS FRAUDULENT RETURNS!  I can prove that these errors were gross negligence. He totally hosed my family. We had to get a lawyer to properly defend us, he cost less and saved us more. 

Granted he is intelligent and persuasive, but he rolls out that Christian card way too often. We fell hard for his snake oil sales pitch and referred several doctors to him, one of which was also audited and had to get a 2 mortgage to pay off losses to the IRS!

I have had my taxes prepared at Essex Tax for the past 6 years and I have loved the experience. Very professional atmosphere. From the moment you walk in you are treated as a guest. They offer you something to drink which is a very nice gesture. I brought in a refugee from Eritrea that I was reaching out to and they did his taxes for free. Also they prepare taxes for single moms and widows free of charge. They are the best. Highly recommended.

I have been interning at Essex & Associates this summer and it has been an amazing learning experience. I have been working alongside Jessica, the executive assistant/receptionist, who is very passionate about her work and service and has been nothing but helpful and friendly toward every client and staff member. The firm itself is very organized and oriented towards assisting clients in whatever ways possible. I have also had the privilege to work with some of the other preparers and staff, including Wayne Essex, Sarah Mast, Todd Nicholls and Kevin Murachanian. They are all hard workers who are determined to solve even the most complex and abnormal tax situations. Wayne goes out of his way to make tax preparation as personal as possible, creating business relationships that last for years to come. Based on my experiences working here I would highly recommend getting your taxes done at Essex & Associates.
