Ordered via TooGood2Go for a mystery bag for a 1 PM pickup. I got there a little early but they were nice enough to give me my bag. For $5.99, I ended up with a dozen assorted bagels. They gave me a good mix in there too, and the bagels were fresh from that morning. I could tell because I ripped into a piece in the car and it was still soft. There was everything, salt, plain, whole wheat, sesame, cinnamon raisin, and blueberry. This actually put me on to blueberry bagels because that's not something I would have ordered before. I froze most of them and a pop in the toaster oven makes it almost as good as new.  Will have to come back for some breakfast sandwiches!

My favorite breakfast sandwich in the Hackensack area!  Ordered a Taylor Ham/egg SPK on a hard roll. Roll was crispy good and layering egg/meat was a nice touch. Very good!Food: 5/5

Essex Bagel is my absolute favorite bagel place. It’s cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to satisfy my bagel cravings. Today, I had their whole wheat bagel with cream cheese, and it was a delightful choice. The toasting gave it a satisfying crunch, making each bite a pure delight. I can’t get enough of their fantastic offerings—simply delicious!

I finally found the best bagel place in the neightborhood! Not to mention how their bagels are so soft and tasteful, their hot sandwiches are also a must try! This will be my go-to place for the weekends. Nice staffs and great service! Highly recommend this place.

Extremely rude. Bagels are always stale. I asked for a plain bagel and they gave me a sesame bagel and just scrapped off some of the seeds and I’m allergic to sesame seeds… i called and the guy literally chuckled and said oh sorry. Unprofessional and they’re lucky I noticed before I ate the bagel because if I did they definitely would’ve been in serious trouble.

I think it is under new management, the bagels taste so much better and the service is good! Lunch sandwich and hamburger is pretty tasty, highly recommend!

Will NEVER go back here. I bought a dozen bagels for  my staff and asked for a tub of temptee cream cheese. What I got upon opening the bag was a tiny tub of cream cheese  home made  …. I called and they said oh so sorry … a one inch container of cream cheese for a dozen bagels . Disgraceful . Half the bagels were burned on the bottom . Save your money  , go  elsewhere !

This place 16yrs ago used to be the best bagel store around hackensack...they're sandwiches would be full of meat. The Taylor used to be a thick and juicy. Now you barely have any meat and it's so thin they burn it. I wonder if owners changed from then . So disappointing

I had a BLT sandwich and it was really good! Staffs are friendly and everything looks fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!!

We love their breakfast sandwiches! Very yummy! Definitely coming back
