North 13th Street Tech is a regional public high school located in Newark, that offers occupational and academic instruction for students in Essex County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as part of the Essex County Vocational Technical Schools.As of the 2014-15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 686 students and 58.7 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.7:1. With 538 students in grades 10-12, the school was classified by the NJSIAA for the 2015–16 school year as North II, Group II for most athletic competition purposes, which included schools with an enrollment of 508 to 770 students in that grade range.
