Disappointed in the color and hi/lights, need to take more time in color consultation and the salon needs to bring in more hair cut styling books for review and ideas. I should have been more proactive and asked to see color swatches before proceeding. Ended up with ash blond hi-lights and mousy brown ("dirty blond") base which is not a good look for me this time of year as it has really "washed" out my complexion. I am playing with make-up now to see if I can do a few tricks to offset the hair color and ashy hi-lights, Tip: Few people can pull off ash blond hair -- even if it is hi lights. The reason I put above average is that I generally get a pretty good haircut with the exception of a few hit and misses.
