I personally love the faculty and staff at this University. They are all trained professionals in their field. They are very passionate at what they do and want to see their students succeed. I'm proud to say I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Alternative Medicine at EU; and I'm now going for my Masters Degree in Public Health Administration. This school helps students achieve their goals by providing one-on-one assistance/instruction. The faculty and staff try their best to answer any questions, and help with any problems their students may be experiencing. For example, the only thing I would suggest to the school is implementing more, "interactive/visual/hands-on forms of teaching;  mostly for manual therapy courses. In addition, "Incorporating dummies" or "real life" herbs into lessons plans would be highly beneficial in preparing students for the real world, not just through book work and power-points.

Everglades University is a GREAT place to grow in your professional career! You have to be a hard worker that is dedicated to student success but if you are passionate about changing lives then this will come naturally. Every year at graduation, we hear the success stories from our graduates who state that if; it was not for the dedication of our team that they would not have been able to make it as far as they did. This University is a GREAT place to work and is growing everyday… I am thankful for the EU Online Team!!!

Terrible school. Terrible financial aid department.  Everything about this place just simply is horrendous. The staff and educators are lacking knowledge themselves. Only stayed here for a short period due to the scam nature of this facility. Do not recommend. Especially if you are planning to use military benefits, they WILL scam you. Be warned.

My experience with Everglades is mixed at best, with it heavily waited towards the difficulties I experienced. Before saying anything else, I do want to point out that every interaction I had with the instructors was great. The instructors themselves are great people, and they are truly committed to helping you. If I could have these instructors with a different institution, I would be absolutely content. The instructors themselves heavily contributed to the positives of this university. Now for the not so great parts:

The financial aid department is a hot mess. Every person will tell you something entirely different, with most of the information being inaccurate even after verifying it multiple times. When you try and address any of these concerns, all anyone will do is talk in circles while giving you more incorrect information. For the price you pay for the turtion, you should be able to have upfront, current, and accurate detailed financial information. From January of 2017 to October of 2017, I have yet to receive consistently correct information about my financial account. 

The core classes were enjoyable, however, they are not particularly challenging.  Most students would be able to complete the same courses online for far less money at a local community college. The textbooks are also a rip-off, with several of them barely being used. I would not advise that anyone has the school order the textbooks for them. It several cases it would have been significantly cheaper to order/rent a textbook and to purchase a code of the online lab separately. 

While I did not take the major courses for the Alternative Medicine track, I did receive the textbooks for several of them. There are better programs with better peer-reviewed, science/researched based textbooks that provide a much more clinical and whole view of alternative medicine. For the price being charged for each course, the materials used for the major courses make this program significantly lesser than it's peers. 

I would never recommend this university to anyone. It is overpriced for the quality of the online education. The financial practices are misleading, dishonest, and downright false. The materials used are of lesser quality for the Alternative Medicine program when compared to programs at colleges like the American College of Healthcare Sciences. This degree program also offers fewer qualifications than other programs. Overall it is a waste of money.

After all of the support I have received from Everglades University Tampa Campus, I feel obligated to write a review to show my gratitude. If anybody is thinking about going to college, or even going back to college, Everglades University is the place you have to consider. If you are dedicated, they will give you all the tools you need to accomplish your goal. The support you will receive from registration to graduation will be beyond your expectations. How do I know? I am a proud student and part of the Everglades University family.
