Steven W. Schaefer should NOT be practicing law and he keeps hopping from firm to firm (Not a good sign folks). He basically took our case and must have thrown our papers in the corner. NOTHING was ever done by this guy. We sent them every paystub and detail they needed to file for the bankruptcy. Our class certificates even expired because he couldn't be bothered to return phone calls, file the case or do anything at all for us. Then, without warning, he up and left to Green Bay without re-assigning our case or notifying us or anything. He used to work for Legal Helpers/Macey Bankruptcy - feel free to Google them and see the massive amount of complaints against Legal Helpers / Macey while they were still in business (They aren't). This is one lawyer you will want to stay FAR away from. He never took any responsibility for his actions and he never will.
