Story

Did you know the Gospel means “good news”?

Exodus3 found its origins in a small Bible Study in the living room of our beloved Pastor Chi Song. Our name comes from the second book of the Bible, Exodus, where God uses Moses and later Joshua, to deliver the Israelites out of their slavery in Egypt and into the Promised Land. After this first exodus comes the second in which God uses the prophet Nehemiah to lead His people out of Babylonian captivity. We are now living in the time of the third exodus.

We believe the first two exoduses were a foreshadowing of the third exodus in which God delivers those who are spiritually bound by legalism or the like into spiritual freedom through Jesus Christ. Similar to how Moses had a real encounter with God through a burning bush in the third chapter of Exodus, we believe genuine spiritual freedom can only be experienced when one truly encounters the grace of God.

We invite you to join us and taste the authentic flavor of the Gospel as it was originally intended. As we allow God to live His life through His followers, this brings true freedom, genuine peace, and most importantly, rest. This rest is a direct result of developing an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
