Basic hotel. A few updates have been made but nothing special. Flooring appears new and I believe they pulled out an old bath tub to put in a stand alone shower. Front desk agent was great and pretty much the only high point. The bed is the main reason I'm rating so low. It is rock hard. I love a firm mattress but found this one terrible. I might as well have slept on the floor. We checked in at 10:30pm and out by 8:30am so we didn't use anything except the bed and bathroom and the bathroom was a disappointment as well. Around the base of the shower it looks like it was never caulked and now is a little mouldy. For around the same price I would 100% stay somewhere else unless you need the fridge/stove/microwave.

My fiancee and I had a house fire recently and decided to spend the night in a hotel. We reserved and paid for our hotel through a site called Cheap Tickets. We reserved the room for a Saturday. When we arrived to the hotel, it looked really nice on the outside. Very well kept. The room itself was kind of dusty and dingy. It wasn't so bad that I wanted to leave. I was awoken at 4 am by my fiancee who was being bitten by a big, red, flat bug ( a bed bug). We instantly gathered our belongings and head to the front counter to make our complaint and to request a refund. We were told to come back in the morning. We returned the next morning only to be told that there were no bed bugs in the room even though we had footage of the bug running around on the pillow like a maniac. We were told that we brought it there with us and that we were not owed a refund. We contacted Cheap Tickets to complain about the room that we reseved through them to inquire about a refund. They sent us back to the hotel who then told us that we had to get refunded by Cheap Tickets. After a week of back and forth, I was able to get them to issue us a refund even though the hotel was going through extra lengths to keep us from getting it. The hotel had told multiple lies to Cheap Tickets about out SHORT stay.

Went there to price check. Seems a little high, but they did offer some perks compared to other hotels

Amazing customer service! I had a problem with the first room i was put in so they moved me into a suite because i had already paid for the next night and then they gave me a complimentary room as well. Ive also been mailed 3 vouchers as well. Then after this was all done, i wanted to continue to stay so i went to pay and was having problems with my card and it ended up being this huge stressful ordeal and they were so patient and helpful. Most hotels probably would have treated me like i didn't have the money to pay. Every single employee here has been absolutely great! The manager, the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, theyre all so sweet. All are outstanding which is rare to find at any business. The hotel is very clean. The rooms and also the common areas. The rooms have closet space, a kitchen, dresser, desk, table to eat at, and a chair and they still are roomy (i cant stand a cramped room). The king suite was VERY spacious. It had a seperate living room area and two TVs, one in the living room area and one in the bedroom area. the location is great with a walmart across the street since they have pretty much everything you can think of as well as some other stores and many restraunts. The only negatives I have are that itd be nice if they accepted cash & the walls seem to be a bit thin. I could sometimes hear people loud and clear walking through the hallway so it kind of creeped me out thinking someone could hear my every word however they might have just been louder people lol. These definitely dont change the 5 star rating for me.

The room was nice and spacioud, as well as cheap. We will definitely be coming here anytime we go to Freedom Hill!
