As a commercial Service tech/owner I do not recommend fagor commercial dishwashers my customer has two and been nothing but problems and less than 2 years old👎

Our church purchased a stainless steel Fagor dishwasher 04/2012. We use the dishwasher 3-4 times a month. We not only get to wash our dishes but we also get to wash our floor as well from the water that leaks from the rusted, low quality, "stainless steel" bottom shelf that serves as part of the dishwasher frame. Fragor representative says "we've never seen this happen before but it's beyond the year warranty we give so you are out of luck". Well what about the implied warranty that goes with any product in that the reasonable person would expect more than 4 years out of a $3,300.00 dishwasher? Should we expect holes rusted through stainless steel? Customer service rep Stephanie says in defense "there are many grades of stainless steel". No kidding, we did not expect the cheapest. Every statement or question was met with a "text book" corporate answer. This was like dealing with a China company. The only difference.......................they are in Miami. Buyer beware!

The boiler water tank is located at the bottom of this unit. If when they mop the floor with a cleaner and it gets on the bottom of the machine. It will corrode the bottom of the unit and cause the tank to leak. This can happen with any brand. Best thing the buy is a unit that has legs or a stand off the floor to avoid this problem with any make or model. Also must people never give these thing maintenance. A little maintenance goes a long way.

Did you purchase as a used machine? Fagor dishwashers are higher priced than $2700 when new. I own a few throughout my restaurants and have had no issues. In fact I saved a lot of money not buying the "low-temp" units and being tied to a chemical company. I shopped around for a Hobart one as well, but no way was it in the Fagor price range, so I am happy with the Fagor undercounter units I purchased!
