The parking lot has a fire ant problem. My car is new, contained no food nor any dry spilled drinks on the mats, yet we awoke the next morning to find it invaded by ants. The manager, Sierra, never offered to help us with this issue. I had to request a vacuum. We moved everything out of my car ourselves: mats, seats, luggage...She didn't once check on us, walk the property to see the problem or apologize for the issue. Instead, she stated they are working on a sugar ant problem. I invited her to look at my car and walk the parking lot with me to see for herself that fire ants were the issue, but she declined. She even went on to say that she's not responsible for the issue because the Fairfield Inn is not responsible for guests' vehicles. I informed her that when a hotel is aware of a pest issue and does not remedy the problem, the establishment is responsible for exposing its guests to the problem. I was shocked by her answer and could not believe she is the manager. My 5 year old is allergic to fire ant bites which added to our stress and concern. I communicated that to her and she seemed indifferent. My husband was bit several times, since he was the one who initially discovered the ants. After requesting the vacuum & receiving it from the maintenance man, my husband vacuumed as I took things out of the car and shook them out. Because there were ants in the parking lot, we couldn't set anything down on the ground, we had to walk everything in to the lobby. We ended up having the night refunded per our request, but Sierra was indifferent to the position she is placing hotel guests in by not treating the ant problem in the parking lot. Apparently, the hotel's general manager, Ashley Wilson, shares the same sentiment. Both take the stance that guests park on their property at their own risk. We were very disappointed by the experience. The maintenance man showed more concern over our situation and we could tell he felt so badly for us. He could teach Sierra & Ashley a few things about good customer service. We have plans to return to Port Aransas & Corpus Christi soon, but will definitely NOT stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Aransas Pass-Corpus Christi.

Absolutely stunning place very friendly staff and management. Amazing breakfast choices and love the gym. Me and my husband celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and he planned an amazing surprise with help from the hotel staff. Walked into the room with rose petals and long stem roses on the bed with whine and balloons it was breath taking. There was also a lovely card from the hotel with signatures from everyone saying happy anniversary. I was absolutely blown away by the amazing people that helped pull off the best anniversary ever. They went above and beyond and we will defiantly be back. I highly recommend this place.

Super friendly when checking in, was able to check in online and had the keys ready upon arrival. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Brand new everything, and great layout. The complimentary breakfast is amazing, and the pool has been clean the duration of my stay. A bit away from Corpus, but for the price and staff, well worth it! Came back to my hotel to find the beds made up, complete with our throw as an accent, and monkey stuffed animal placed nicely!

This Hotel is one of the best to stay at. The manager's Billie and Ciera are an asset to the hotel there are very professional and their job well. The rooms are very nice and clean. I will always stay there when I visit my family. I recommend this place to anyone who visits this area. I guarantee you Billie and Ciera will take care of you. Checked in July 2 for a two night stay. Looks like a nice clean hotel. Staff very friendly. This morning about 6:45am we were awaken to a dog barking and scratching at the door next to our room. This dog kept barking profoundly. I immediately contacted the front desk. They did nothing about it! Good morning!! Went about our day came back about 3:00pm to rest up before this evenings festivities. Much to our surprise barking dog !!! Have contacted front desk asked to be moved from room. Did I mention dog barking? I love dogs, who leaves their dog locked up in a hotel room? It seems like management is not concerned. Probably will not be coming back here. Waiting on management......😞 Manager Ashley did make contact and expressed her concerns. She was not present at checkout. I did ask for some type of discount at that time for the lack of sleep during our stay. Non Given....
