I thought it was only me that had a run in with the lady attendant at this station. Read the other reviews. I really think Amtrak needs to reevaluated her. Maybe she is having a tough home life or something. I just don't know why she treats people the way she does.

the attendant ,Mary mcdowell was rude and inpatient I asked  were was the long-term parking lot and she answers snappy across the street in the fenced yard then I asked what do I have to do or take and she snapped again acrooa the street in the fenced yard! but I asked for her name ahe toned down after that and went on with her knitting

The people who worked there were very rude and snobby to all the customers. Would not recommend. Although the Vancouver Amtrak station; everyone was nice, patient and had a clean enticing atmosphere!

I love the train, and I love the station. It is clean, well ordered and everyone who works there is generally friendly. But one employee, who has been there for years is such a righteous pain in the ass that I nearly always prefer some other mode of transport. She used to work morning shifts, but I found her tonight as I got off the 9:30 arrival to Bellingham. She hassled me about my claim ticket to pick up my backpack on the golf cart on a mostly deserted platform. She loves referencing airline security in her execution of duties, but she's flatly wrong. I don't have to produce proof to pick my bag off a carousel at an airport unless there's a dispute or something irregular. We are reasonable passengers in Bellingham and we deserve more normal treatment at the train station, for God's sake. This is not an isolated event. The employee in question has been harassing travellers for years.
