We enjoy swimming during the week. I like this facility, but have been to better! More times than not, we have been offered less than kindness, and given varying information! Not every experience has been nasty, and honestly (unfortunately) I wonder if it may be lack of diversity/acceptance/tollerance in the area. A few of the front desk attendants demonstrate a very unpleasant and hateful demeanor and better-than attitude. We don't mind paying a couple extra dollars since we are technically 'nonResidents', but I would never purchase a pass to this place. One morning, we arrived at 10:20a, and the woman told us we had to 'come back' when the program started-At 10:30a! We were just going to wait in the sizeable, EMPTY lobby area since it was

The rec center is awful. It's not worth the membership. If there's something you really want to do- the drop in fee is best. Membership costs a lot and you never really get it back in the $2 you save over the drop-in fees. They don't have that many machines in the work-out room (and the ones they have are older), and there is nobody on hand to help you use them. (I had a question once and the best anyone who worked there could tell me was "just try it and figure it out for yourself". The classes they offer are severely lacking as well. They only offer about a one-week window to sign your kids up for lessons- but they don't let you know when this window will open. (I called and visited in person several times waiting for them to open the ballet class. They kept saying "someone will get to it." I missed the 5 days it opened as they never actually inform you. Then they canceled the class because not enough kids signed up. (I knew at least 3 families that would have if they would have known registration was open.) Swim lessons are taught by teenagers and amounts to little more than allowing your kids to splash in the water. They don't really learn anything. They should not be allowed to advertise their classes as gymnastics as all it is is somersaults on a mat. Overall- it's been very disappointing.

i came home and my face was bright red with clorine burns and i dont react to anything, the clorine levels were way too high, i went here and everyone i went with had bright red faces when they got out because they are incompetent fools who think its ok to flood a pool with chlorine
