I LOVE to Shop at Fairway Market as there's always great selection of fresh food. Olives department is the BEST, offers assortment of varieties & so is Cheese department where i always find French Feta cheese - absolutely Delicious ! 3 clean restrooms. Diversity of employees helpful. Fairway Market is the BEST BUSINESS MODEL !! 
P.S. WARNING ! This Olives should be banned & illegal as there's no treatment existing from addiction !!!

It is an amazing supermarket with a large selction of produce and products. Well stocked, fantastic location, and excellent customer service. It is one of my favorite supermarkets. Love the pastries and not to mention the prepared food-it tastes delicious. I simply love to shop groceries and so much more in this place

I bought 4 items from the cold buffet. One of them, the quinoa salad, was completely rotten. I found out once I got home. I came back the next day, had to wait in line to get a refund, no apologies whatsoever. I started to complain a bit and the girl at customer service was still rude about it. It’s supposed to be high gourmet food and not only they sell spoiled stuff, but they don’t make it up at all to the customers - in fact they do not even apologize for it. 
I expected she would give me at least a coupon and say that they are sorry. Nope. I should have smelled accurately the buffet items I guess?

You are better off going at your local grocery store or Trader Joe’s which is two blocks south of that.

fairway is the joint for fresh ingredients, excellent cheese counter, possibly nyc's best whole bean coffee selection, deli counter, top notch butcher with prime aged meats, and a decent selection of basics. also specialty foods including spices from every cuisine as well as a good gluten free section.

Good food but terrible service. Not only did my server insist that I ordered a Cobb salad ( that was the lady next to me) rather than chopped salad, it took a while to even flag down a waiter to order. No greeting, no how is everything. Plus we were served the adjacent table's food.
