Faith is somewhat a shrinking mega-church, but it still draws the crowd. Performers presentation is professional TV pop. Facility is clean and is professional. From the pulpit rapidly stacked messages seem incongruous as well rehearsed. The sensory experience is a discos blinding strobe lights, artificial smoke and extremely loud audio. To me this is obnoxious, offensive and objectionable. If I were to ever return earplugs are a must to properly protect my hearing ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Faith's philosophy is a mix of political correctness and prosperity gospel. As I attended the main service I observed a repetitive message; you deserve by hoping mixed with the occasional cajoling for money. An exploit of impulsive compassion. Hope and optimism while demonizing any reality that causes stress. A message to mute careful reasoning and activate undifferentiated empathy. Bubble thinking is common and encouraged to self destructive excess. The housing bubble and currently the education bubble. A common expectation that leads to great bitterness with this church is you will be helped in your time of need. This bitterness is exacerbated by the pastoral staffs flaunting of wealth, real or fabricated, while encouraging aggressive donations. A prudent way to view this is your paying for a show; that's it and nothing more. Countless testimonials have proven to me help will never come from this church. Entitlement thinking without sacrifice and hard work is effective in exploiting others, we are what we do. Political correctness is very toxic to young boys. Classic stories and lessons from the Bible are pretty much irrelevant, a single verse may be referenced. Almost no one has a Bible. When compared to traditional Christian churches I would consider Faith Community a completely different religion.

This church was home to me for several years, heavily involved in children's ministry and sold out to the growth of the kingdom. I had no idea how deeply unhealthy the church was until I actually moved away from California and found a new church home. I did not leave Faith on bad terms. It broken my heart when I left. I shocked and upset when I realized Faiths lack of bible teaching in the actual word, the false indoctrination of there version of the word they choose to use and the hippocracy so deeply rooted at the top. Pastoral staff involved in and attempted to hid a gambling addiction, adultry of pastoral staff, openly supporting divorce for those on pastoral staff, allowing pastoral staff to continue in position while in the middle of divorce and addiction. Plastic surgery for head pastor and wife, an offering was taken to to help pay for a vacation they wanted to take. If you don't agree with there teachings they will tell you and I quote "there's the door". Make your own choice about the church but remember it should match the word of God. If your not reading from the word, if they aren't following the word then be prepared to be lead in a direction that could leave your farther from God.

My wife and I were looking for a bible based church and we thank the Lord for finding it hare at Faith. We've been cooking her for a year now and have been blessed. They help the community and have lots of opportunities to grow spiritually and to serve the Lord.
