I've been staying here while waiting to PCS with my husband and I've loved it. Waking up to the gorgeous view and the lovely birds that frequent the camp has been just lovely.  It's been peaceful, quiet and everyone has been extremely friendly. The staff and hosts have also been informative and friendly whenever we've had questions. The laundry facilities are clean and well kept, as is the lounge.  The WIFI really isn't as bad as all the reviews say. I've actually managed to stream TV programs from online catch-up sites during my stay.  The only thing that has really "Got My Goat" is how many people don't pick up after their dogs here. Now I'm a dog owner myself and when walking my own dog, there is so much dog mess along the roads surrounding FamCamp where people just don't pick up when their dogs defecate. Although, the camp itself is very clean.  It's a pretty poor show, when Military folk don't respect the beautiful facilities provided to them. Hopefully, something can be done about this to make it better for future campers. I would definitely stay here again, should we return to California.
