We went for Valentine's Day and I was truly disappointed. The bread was really the best part. The main dishes were not that good, the drinks were not good and not to mention they ran out of mashed potatoes. Not the Valentine's Day dinner I wanted to give to my girlfriend and it missed the mark in a lot of ways for nearly $400. The atmosphere is going for romance, but could be seen as too dark and gloomy without the right tone from the waiter and music.

My husband Bart and I had a birthday dinner for Bart at Famigia  Scottsdale last night.  The entire dinner experience was wonderful.  We used to frequent Broc's restaurant in Fountain Hills a few years ago we were very sad when the restaurant closed, and although it took us a "little while" to visit his restaurant in Scottsdale, we are so glad we did.  Everything from the cocktails, entrees, dessert and after-dinner drinks were phenomenal.  Such an intimate ambience with lovely piano music in the background, candle light, and a beautifully decorated space. The hostess and our servers were friendly and had lively and fun personalities.  It was great to see Broc again, and kudos to the chef.  We will be sure to return again soon!

What an awesome hidden gem Famiglia is! Causally elegant and classy, such a great spot for any occasion. The octopus was absolutely incredible and their freshly cooked focaccia was so yummy. The rack of lamb was amazing at every bite and cooked to perfection. You can tell the wine list was created with love and attention. After a long day of work I was so over the moon to wander in and have such a delightful dining experience.  The ambiance here is fabulous. From the moment I walked in the hostess and staff were wonderful. The owner was engaging and authentic, such a breath of fresh air. So refreshing to find a place like this in this area. In a sea of monotonous steak houses, mediocre restaurants and cookie cutter concepts, this place takes the cake and stands apart. It is most definitely my new neighborhood fav. My visit here reminded me that true hospitality and food made from the heart is alive and well in North Scottsdale. Their kitchen staff takes pride in their creations and it comes through in the dishes loud and clear.  Famiglia is a winner people!

The most authentic Italian food in Phoenix!  Haven’t tasted this level of pasta in years!  The restaurant is quite basic - and exemplifies the food as to fundamental beginnings - all natural and organic!  The temperature which often is forgotten with food served cold - proves the professional approach of the chef working diligently in the back!!  Kudos!!  So very refreshing finding this gem in the desert!!

I accidentally reserved a table at this restaurant for a last minute table it was very open, cancelled immediately and was STILL charged a $60 dlls cancellation fee.  Called and manager would not reimburse the cancellation fee.  Any place that can't understand an error on a reservation for a day that was not even busy should be ashamed to call themselves a customer experience advocate.

Outstanding food preparations and presentation. Upscale but not in a stuffy or overpriced way.  Easy to have nice dinner conversation and still be able to hear each other!  Pleasant background music. Our dishes included the beet carpaccio, gnocchi, seafood linguine, lasagna, cauliflower soup, mozzarella & tomato salad. All amazing, including the complimentary fantastic focaccia. This was our 2nd visit and we will definitely be coming back!  Vegetarian options: Beautifully seasoned pillow-like soft gnocchi. Gourmet beet carpaccio with Parmesan and crispy capers.

Excellent restaurant!! The food was wonderful. Pastas homemade. Produce & meats sourced locally. Wines exceptional. Service outstanding. We have now found our favorite place in scottsdale   Food: 5/5

We came for restaurant week and loved every part of our meal! The only picture I thought to take is the cannoli, but we enjoyed each course. Our server was very attentive and the wines paired well with all of the food. I really enjoyed it and the portion sizes were perfect for us! We shared everything between the 3 of us so we could try more, and we still had enough to take home.
