My experience with Jill Leinen and, more recently, Teresa Thompson has been attentive, easy to get, and respectful. I'd happily recommend this clinic to anyone.

Be cautious about going to the Family Care Clinic. Perhaps she is okay for the most routine stuff, but definitely not somewhere to go with any kind of unusual symptoms. I ended up with double vision on the treatment she prescribed (granted, it was listed as a side effect), but she never checked in to see if the medicine was working. When I went to a specialist because I knew Jill could not help, she berated me for switching providers. I felt disrespected for her, especially after I recieved a bill for her services when she did absolutely nothing for me, except berating me for "switching providers". Don't go here. I would much more recommend Laramie's Clinic for Family and Women or Dr. Gempis.

Wendy King is absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. She is the best doctor we have had so far. The front desk staff is not. They lost information on our scheduled appointment, and refused to contact the Dr for a necessary refill to get us by until the next appointment. The front desk only forwarded the information on to the doctor after much pleading to do so. Wendy King would understand the severity of the situation and refilled, but the front desk felt that they could speak for her, while later admitting to not understanding the refill policies of Dr. King. The front desk worker hung up mid conversation, when she felt threatened that we were waiting eagerly for an update on what Wendy king said about the refills. She said "you will not be hearing from Wendy you will be hearing from ME!". only pleasantries from our side of the conversation as we are in dire need of this medication. Whether the update was transferred through the front desk, or from Wendy herself it wouldn't change the fact that the update was from Wendy. I am scared about the future ability for Wendy to take care of her patients properly when the front desk staff attempts to answer for her, without consultation. I am scared because we cannot express our medical needs without feeling like we are going to be ignored or kicked out as clients. We have the feeling that no matter what we do or say, it will be taken in unkind light because of the attitude of the front desk staff.

The clinic has always been able to see me the day that I am sick. Jill Lenin is very good and thorough. An excellent NP.
