The store itself was nice looking, all the products well arranged and their prices I suppose were within tolerable limits for such a specialized array. I was, however quite perplexed and dismayed at the rather relentless display of ubermarketing that was practiced there. The young woman who helped me find the Bible and cover I was looking for, was extremely pushy when trying to upgrade my order, almost the the point of causing me to use profanity. All I wanted was a nice leather bound ESV study Bible, but by the time I was done (about 45 minutes after arriving), I had purchased a cover for the Bible which I really didn't want and had agreed to having my name etched in gold on the cover. The woman, an 18-25 year old, asked me if I wanted to pay for a membership to an internet group which offered daily words of wisdom from giants of the faith such as Spurgeon, Josh McDowell, Charles Stanley and Adrian Rogers to name a few. I might occasionally want to hear from these men, but I did not want to pay for it, especially when I had already nearly topped $100.00, from my vacation money. I said no to the offer at least five times, maybe more and when I finally just bluntly said "I am not interested in that offer" the lady said "ok, so you're not interested in saving 70% on the cost of a year of premium wisdom and counselling from these great men, is that right?" I said "yes, that is correct" and she hung her head and from that point forward, her voice was monotone, quiet and not friendly at all. I expect this kind of hard sale at a Best Buy or a car dealership, but not at a Christian bookstore. My suggestion, pay your employees a living wage, so they won't depend on commision so much.

Was initially amazed by the large selection of books only to find them all to be varying version of the same science fiction novel. Very disappointing.
