Went to mediation with my ex for joint custody 50/50. But because of my work schedule (firefighter 24 hour shifts twice a week) the courts were going to grant full custody to the mother who literally works 70 hours a week and sends my kids to an illegally run daycare barely spending 2 hours a day with them! Good luck dealing with these POS employees who are so anti father

If your a male, you might as well forget being treated fairly, especially if you pay child support. Been dealing with them for over 12 years now and have few more to go and will be over joyed when my last support payment is sent. The only place i know that can turn an DAD into an ATM. Had another appt on 11/13/17 for a hearing and all i can say is commissioner Debonte and her side kick deputy commissioner megee are the smuggest, most ignorant inviduals ive had the displeasure to meet. As far as my hearing went the only thing they were interested in hearing was the money fly out my wallet. All i can say is if you walk thru those doors and your a man, come with plenty of lube because youll need it

Corrupt court system here. I filed for child support on a real dead beat dad and when the case got to family court where his mommy works my case for child support was dropped for no real reason at all!!

I had the worst experience here today. I am a father with custody of my child and I had a mediation with my ex for her to pay child support and I was treated like a deadbeat dad and they attempted to imasculate me. The mediator acted unprofessional and threatened to throw me out and rule against me because I had a different view than her. I never once even raised my voice or made derogatory comments but being a white straight man I'm the devil by default I guess. The mediators name was Jennifer ca,,[n and she was not helpful only threatening. As a mediator her job was to be neutral and it sure didn't feel that way... Good luck men it's all up hill for the male species here.
