Story

Founded in 1986 by Alexander Alemis, D.D.S., FAGD, we have five offices throughout South Chicago, East Side, Calumet City, Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn. We're one of the largest dental groups in the Chicagoland area. Our Evergreen Park dental office is open Sunday by appointment. We have specialists on staff and feature some of the latest technology - from CEREC® same day crowns to LANAP® laser gum treatment. I had several visits in this office in 2016 and I was satisfied with the care I received. I recently made an appointment for x-rays and routine cleaning. The dentist advised that I had an infection and a cleaning would spread the infection. I said okay, please prescribe an antibiotic for the infection. She said "No", the tooth needs to be extracted. If a cleaning would spread the infection the same would be true of an extraction without clearing up the infection. I was experiencing no pain and no bleeding. This was not her call. I make the decisions regarding when and if my teeth are pulled. I felt she was trying to make money and now I don't trust them.

My experience at Family Dental Care was beyond amazing. I had to get a root canal, and I was terrified about the procedure. However, the awesome positive energy they provided along with the great amount of information they provided me, helped me get through it. The procedure was painless and Dr. Allegretti was so awesome. She was very kind and professional, making my root canal procedure go smooth. She did a great job along with the assistance of Briana. During the procedure they talked and had casual conversation which made me calm and led the procedure to be calming. I highly recommend Family Dental Care Evergreen Park!!! Great experience and customer care!!

Cynthia was friendly and walk me through my appointment step by step. Claudia was nice at the reception counter. Been coming here for about four visits now and it's always a pleasant experience... 😎

My experience at Family Dentist has been amazing. From my first visit and on. They make you feel comfortable and explain each and every step they are taking with your dental care. I recommend them for the entire family-pediatric to geriatric Family Dental will take care of them. They work with your insurance and your financial needs. You will leave happy and pain free.

I really love coming to Family Dental Care. The staff are very friendly from the front desk to the dental assistants and the wonderful doctors. I came in today to get a tooth extraction by Dr Doran and the procedure was very fast and painless. I was surprised how quick it was over. I'm happy to be a patient at Family Dental Care!
