Disrespectful employees and customers the same. The store is atrocious and nothing is where it should be. Expired products. Only 1 employee throughout store. Same employee is the ONLY cashier. Check out line is a 12-15 min wait. Cashier is more preoccupied with holding her conversation with the security guard who's NOT doing HIS job. Horrible to have this be the ONLY walking distance place to shop. Just because we live downtown doesn't mean we deserve to be treated like this. Or to be rendered to be stuck with the WORST Family Dollar EVER.

The price may be right but the service is horrible 98% of the time! I have even called corp. and the district manager in hopes it would make a difference but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears! The staff will totally ignore you and yell back and forth across the store to each other. Most days the lines are down the isles and thee staff just stand there either playing on the recruiting computer in the cooler corner or on their phones! I tend to wonder if there is even a store manager. I wish I could say that its not always horrible but unfortunately it is more of a miss than a hit! Why do I keep going back you must be wondering. I live in walking distance and its all about the convenience factor. If they got their act together they would really kick ass, the problem is, they know we are going to keep shopping there because they depend on us locals. You might actually get greeted with a smile once in a great while but most days your lucky if they say hello or forbid even speaking to you at all, so forget about a Thank you for shopping with us! So if you don't have to go to the High street location, then I would recommend going up the hill as I've heard they are a bit better. I guess it is what it is!
