I have been going to Dr. Evens office now for close to a year i usually see one of the nurse practitioners so far Gill is my favorite she is very caring and concerned with her patience's well-being. The initial first charge is a bit high but they will keep the remaining funds and use it towards a credit for any return visits as needed. They will also return the funds to you. I chose to have them keep the funds to show i have a credit. My only complaint is the wait time is some times extremely long so make sure you give yourself plenty of time between other appointments. I will continue to use this Dr. office for any return visits. Thanks everyone for being so nice.

Dr Evens had us transfer our medical records to him and then turned us away! The office staff was very incompetent

The doctor that saved my life. When no one could diagnose what was wrong with me for years Dr. Evans did what no other doctor did, went beyond his duty and did not think of the dollar and found out what was wrong. Thank you Dr. Evans!!!! Not only that, Dr. Evan's office is a well run and fair office. His quality of care is beyond most doctor offices. Dr. Evans might be a busy at times, because he knows what he is doing. Also, the people he surrounds himself with are knowledgeable. They extend themselves to help you with your health. Help them find what your insurance will provide and he will get the job done! In today's world we all need to work together! Again, thank you! All the staff at the Family Healthcare of Denton! I had 2 bad experiences. First time I came I waited for an hour for my appointment. Next time I came I had an appointment scheduled for 8:00. I checked in on time and told them I was there for my physical. After 30 minutes of waiting I went up to ask how much longer and the receptionist told me my appointment had been moved to 9:15! No on told me upon check in, they said they tried to call but they didn't leave any voicemails to let me know. So even though no one talked to me they still moved my appointment to another time. They should have honored the time I came for instead they were going to let me sit there for over an hour. They are disrespectful of the patients time and don't seem to care about keeping patients. I will not be back and do not recommend this office to anyone!

Plan on a 3 hour doctor visit..I understand you can't always control the time but they overbook patients, then spend very little time in the room with you and when you think your going to finally see someone you wait again... This is the worst doctor's office..glad I found another office.
