I had come into the office to see if they could extract a wisdom tooth that was bothering me. They could not, but they referred me to an oral surgeon that could take care of that for me. The receptionist was very nice and asked me if I wanted a tooth cleaning, since I was already there. I said yes, and without an appointment, they took care of me quickly. The hygienist, whose name is Maryellen, was kind and answered the questions I had. She was also quick and professional. I definitely recommend this dental office.

I am extremely stressed about dental procedures. Dr Gross was amazing! Very professional, friendly, and caring. I would highly recommend Family Smiles of the Hudson Valley.

I've had a terrible experience more than once here. The telephone staff is less than friendly and inconsistent. For instance, when I need a filling I always schedule it along with a cleaning, kill two birds with one stone. But every time I show up the doctors tell me  "Oh, she never put down that you wanted a cleaning." Also I never had a cavity in my life until getting braces as an adult. Once I got my braces off they took care of my cleanings, cavities etc. The male dentist that I had there would always have nasty comments about my teeth and ask me rude personal questions. I am in my twenties and he suggested that I get fake teeth of whatever sort. He said that they would look " much better" For the record I have had quite a few cavities due to my braces but my teeth are straight, and in good condition, not like they're rotting out of my mouth ANY time soon. This same dentist filled 2 cavities for me on another visit and neglected to ask me if I would like the white filling or the silver. I do not have one silver filling in my mouth and if given my rightful say I would have paid the extra money for the proper filling. I was shocked to go home with 2 big ugly silver fillings on my bottom molars, on top of him being extremely rough with my mouth the entire visit. And lastly, on my most recent visit I was unable to have an X-ray because of my pregnancy. The woman at the front desk was arranging another visit for me for after I attained a doctors note for my procedure. Instead of the normal " congratulations" I was asked " Wow how old are you, I thought you were about 15" Just rude and inconsiderate service all together. The  majority of fillings they have done have fallen out in less than a year as well. I have recently switched and will never step foot in there again, I've had more than enough of that hole in the wall office,

I have been going to this dentist all month of February &today was my visit for my final fill & my approval came thru for an root canal,  the dentist never told me ;"they Dont sedate" so I waited 3 weeks and when the approval come thru he says they Dont sedate,so what did I wait for ? Then when I tell him I'm not allowing u to do a root canal on me without sedation.,,Dr Kim.goes why we do root canals on 10year old Lil boys,,  me being who.I am I wanted to tear the drs office up, but I stayed professional,even thou he didn't ,I will not be returning to this dentist BC I do not find me being in distress funny and I didn't appreciate the sarcasm . have a great day . 10:25am 3/15 /2017

This may be a little office, but all of the staff are huge on customer service, and compassion.  They are so patient.  I am a big chicken and they put me at ease.  I'm an adult yet they still took their time with me held my hand and everything.  I take all my grandkids there.  I trust that they will be caring with them. The dentist made an emergency appointment for me.  They don't make you wait long.  Most of all they understand pain, and do everything to comfort you,  Love you guys......Lisa
