I have been attending Fargo Baptist Church since April of 2009. Everything preached there is from the Bible, and attending there has changed my life. I learned how to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, how salvation is only by grace through faith - and not of works, and continually I am encouraged in my walk with the Lord, to keep living for Him. Pastor Scheving is a loving, meek, and humble man that preaches in wisdom and truth. For over 30 years now he and his family have faithfully served the Lord here and been a blessing to thousands of people. This is a Church that loves Christ, loves others, and preaches the Truth - God's word.

Going to Fargo Baptist Church changed everything for me.  I went there for the first time in March of 2010.  It was the first church service I had attended for about 15 years, most of that time being an athiest, up til about 2008.  I couldn't believe what I heard!  No one ever told me I was a sinner and I couldn't work my way to heaven!  And another thing that amazed me was that Pastor Scheving backed up every message with 25-30 Bible verses!  "....all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" Isaiah 64:6 "I tell you, Nay, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."Luke 13:3, to name a couple verses.  I was lost and trying to work my way to heaven for the last 2 years.  While going thru the 7 steps to God Bible study, God drew me and saved me on June 3rd, 2010, and my whole life changed!  God has blessed me with purpose in my life, ministries to serve Him in, and I met and married my wife at Fargo Baptist and now we have 2 wonderful children!  All this because God put this church in my hometown!

Fargo Baptist Church has changed my life. I would not have gotten saved if it hadn’t been for this church and the preaching from Pastor Scheving.

Great church where the Gospel is preached without apology. No fluff or filler. You will learn what the Bible really teaches and means.
