I though about starting a small business here.  Faribault looks like a nice town and would otherwise meet my marketting requriements.  But the local police are out of control writing tickets along 4th, and 7th streets. Each time that I would drive from the Trucker's Restaurant to downtown I would encounter at least 3 Faribault police either writing tickets, using radar or stalking their next prey. I understand that times are tough but this type of revenue colleting is an abuse of the people's trust. I have found that it is not wise to bring a business where the police take such liberties. I can only imagine what they they might do to a competitor of a family member's business.  Either you have ethics or you don't. I'll go somewhere else.
