I was a business customer for two years and had Workers Compensation Insurance thru this Farmers agency.  I sold my business one month before the premium expired.  I had a $850 refund due because of policy overpayment, and Farmers took 3 months to refund.  When refunding, their Billing Department deducted a $250 fee that I had already paid.  The office manager at Robert Heineman Insurance concurred that there was an error, but was not willing to escalate the problem with their main office to be corrected.  I feel like I was pickpocketed by a crooked company, and their local agent is looking the other way.  I can only imagine what would happen if I submitted a claim at this agency.  I will be filing a complaint with the California Department of Insurance and Better Business Bureau.  Soon after, Small Claims Court.
