Attended a birthday party for a child I felt the hostess could have been friendlier. The facility was clean, parking was ample.

manager is not flexible on schools league. Greed is noticed. Not nice to staff either. Charges full price for bowling. Staff are flexible and nice. Lousy manager makes place toxic.

Wow I don't know where to begin. I'll start off by saying this was the worst most disappointing bad experience in a bowling alley I have ever experienced. It was my sisters 28th birthday and we went as a family to celebrate and have a fun night together. We were given our lane which was lane 25 in the back corner. I usually wouldn't mind this but throughout our entire stay multiple employees just kept walking in front of us and on our lane to go into the back, I understand that's where all the mechanical issues are solved but that was not the case, multiple employees making several trips into the back with food and drinks and really had no care in the world they were disrupting us, not even a sorry. We started off our night getting a couple drinks and the bartender, blonde with tattoos mid 20s, was very very rude and nasty to me and my brother. I understand that people need to do there job the right way and ID people properly but that comes with customer service and just basic manors. So we had 6 people with us, and she in a very nasty way told us that she saw 6 people and needs to see 6 IDs. We showed IDs and after we were given the alcohol we were continuously being checked up on and watched and hovered over by one of the assistant managers I'd assume. She was a short red head girl with tattoos in a tank top and basic street clothes with no indication she worked there. She came over to us to ID us again! Meanwhile there were young kids next to us who never got ID and looked very very young that were drinking (also blame bartender for this). So we all have our ID minding our own business in an empty bowling alley and the front desk puts 4 people right next to the 6 of us, which doesn't make sense bc there is not that much room in the corner and plenty of lanes available. Because of the lack of room the group of 4 went to the front desk and got moved but apparently made a comment about us. After all this we went back up to the bar to get more drinks mind you we barely drank as it was. There was an older man in a green bowling alley shirt which I assumed was the manager and he was staring at us in a very mean way. So I asked what the problem was , and he said and I quote " i don't like what's going on between you and the Spanish people". Well he didn't know that we were Spanish as well and I and my sister took offense to that and the way he said it. He was so taken back by our response he had nothing to say until about 20 seconds later saying he didn't know that would be considered racist. Well he was wrong, very wrong. He made a racist remark and said it in a very disrespectful way. Bottom line is he cut us off from alcohol, nobody was happy in my family and this place officially ruined my sisters birthday night. Me my family and anybody we know will never come to this bowling alley again, even though we live down the block. This experience was so bad that nothing is worth stepping foot in there again. So please I am letting everyone know now, this is not the place to go bowling and have a good time. All the staff is very rude and there only concern is for the league bowlers. DO NOT GO TO FARMINGDALE LANES !!!!!!!!!!!!!
