To the gentleman that helped me with my boyfriend Mazda 3 I felt that the way you were talking to me was like you were talking to a child. Yes, I get that most women don't know cars but there are some that do and are currently attending school for it. My boyfriend asked for certain things he wanted done to his car and I was trying to fulfill that. I understand that it was very hot and you guys were packed but still show that customer service to the fullest.

Car wash not as robust as others in the area. The convenience store has a good selection and comparable prices.

I used to love this store but they've gone downhill with lately.  Apparently they got bought out by Jackson's and there food quality and service has dropped dramatically.

If you know me, you know that I am an easy going guy and very easy to please. For a convenience store, my expectations are pretty low. I mean really, most of the stuff that happens at a convenience store is pretty much self-service. Pump your own gas, get your own ice, get your own soft-drink, dry off your own car after the automatic wash. I don't expect great customer service. My expectation is that the services that a convenience store provide be "convenient", and I expect that I will get the product that I pay for. Convenience stores are all over the place. For most commodity-like businesses, the best way to make sure I don't patronize your business is to give me a reason to NOT choose your business. Well, Fast Eddy's provided me with that reason yesterday.

This Fast Eddy's station has been my neighborhood go-to spot for a few years for gas, propane, car-washes, and even a bottle of wine now and then. I purchased a car wash a while back, and went to redeem it yesterday. I have been extremely busy for the last few months, so I haven't been as disciplined as I normally am in many things (like getting my car washed), and when the car wash attendant typed in the wash code, it came up as EXPIRED. I said that seemed weird, but sure enough, when we looked at the receipt, it showed that I bought the car wash on June 3rd, and it was now July 5th. Fast Eddy's now sets the expiration date for car washes at 30 days. I seem to recall that when I bought car washes back in the winter, the expiration time was much longer, as I got several washes using old car wash receipts. I'm thinking it was at least 60 or 90 days. But now I'm sitting in line at the car wash with a wash code that expired less than 48 hours ago, and the attendant says he can't let me through. I ask why does the car wash expire anyway? He doesn't know. Why 30 days, and not longer? He doesn't know. All he knows is that he can't let me in. The result here is that I purchased a service from a business, and now that business is refusing to perform the service. Yes, they have their reasons, but the bottom line is that I did not get what I paid for.

Ok, I guess some of this is on me, since I was unaware of their car wash expiration policy, and did not attempt to redeem the service within their prescribed window of availability. I'll own that. I'm not the kind of person to storm into the office and demand to see a manager over something like this. But at the same time, I do not have to give any more of my business to Fast Eddy's, and I think it would be dishonest of me to give a positive recommendation for this business in light of this situation.

After the attendant firmly reinforced that I can't be allowed into the car wash, he noticed that there is no way for me to pull forward out of the car wash lane. I am sitting in my car at the entry gate, and he says I have to back out. The funny part is that now multiple cars had gotten in line behind me, and the guy now has to direct traffic to clear the path, so I can back all the way out of the car wash area. 

This experience was quite a change from events at Fast Eddy's in the past. Fortunately, there are plenty of places to buy gas and propane. More and more high quality car washes are popping up all over the place, and I can get wine elsewhere as well.
