My first visit to this restaurant was great. We went on Sunday 7/23/17 around 230pm and the restaurant was quiet with a few patrons.  Very clean, nice staff, and the food is delicious.  We ordered 3 snow crab clusters, kids tenders w/ corn on the cob, and a grilled shrimp poboy w/ fries. I would have given 5 stars if they had a full bar with alcohol but they only carry soft drinks & beer(wine also I think). I will return w/ more family and friends.

We waited over an hour for our food. They made my son's chicken sandwich wrong and we waited at least another 20 minutes. He ended up eating from all of our dishes, so I cancelled his food. Ended up spending almost two hours. They also ran out of blue crabs and never told us until we asked about them.  So, we're leaving still hungry. Now, we need to get some food somewhere else. We even called ahead a few minutes before we got there and they said there was no wait. Ha! Manager never came out to apologize until we flagged him over. And I think his mom (the owner) never said anything to us either. Poor operations. Poor service. Gave them the one star for the food. Very unhappy. Juicy Crab is way better!!!

I will give this. 4+ stars for quality of food. Bare bones decor, no frills. I am very critical and picky about my seafood and especially Cajun. I had fried oysters and gumbo. The oysters were A++. Perfection. Nothing you could do to make them better. The gumbo was A-, B+. I grew up on the Gulf coast and know how this food should be prepared and seasoned. I think this is the first "Cajun" restaurant in Atlanta that I have eaten at in my 50 years here that actually deserves the name "Cajun". Kudos to this restaurant. My wife's shrimp was also prepared expertly.

They have hours posted on their door which are incorrect. They have corrected hours smaller on paper to the side. They close at 10:30 on Saturday night, and I walked in at 10:25. Admittedly late, but still before closing. I was told the kitchen was closed, and was argued with about their hours. I don't feel like I was treated hospitably, I don't feel like they wanted my business. I wanted a to go order, I'm a single dad just finishing grocery shopping with my kid. Final grade: F for effort, N/A because I didn't even get to try the food

If I could give five 6 stars I would!! I ordered the Cajun and butter garlic Oysters, and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp basket. Those were definitely the best Oysters I have had... Ever. And I order oysters at every seafood restaurant I go to. The shrimp was really good too. But the oysters stole the show. Fairly priced. Service was great, it was a Monday though. But I loved our waiter. Will definitely be back.
