One of the best places in Manitowoc.  You gotta have the sour cream and chive fries.  Also - the 1/2 lb burger will knock your socks off (my feet are freezing).  Looks simple from the outside but do not hesitate to try this place.  Excellent service - excellent food - excellent prices!  Thanks for a great time.

The food is good bar food and the bartenders are excellent. However there is a woman, perhaps the owner, with ear length blond hair and glasses who consistently tries to eject us from the building before we have finished our dinner. We have a group of four to nine people who regularly go out on Friday evenings. We have a good experience at Fat Seagull unless the woman with glasses is working. She tries to hurry us out of the building while we are finishing our meals. Each time we swear we won't return, but after a few months we decide to give it another try. Tonight was the last straw. We arrived at 4:30 ordered drinks, ordered food, ate, had a final drink, and after we had paid our bill and were leaving the woman with glasses came up to our table to tell us that the people who just left the bar had been waiting for a table that we were occupying. It's now 6:45, so we proceeded out of the building, I dropped off a friend on the way home to Two Rivers, arrived home at 6:30 with the absolute knowledge that I will never spend another hour and a half being made to feel unwelcome and a nuisance. There are too many other good places to eat in Manitowoc. Beware the woman with the ear length blond hair and glasses! She is not your friend!

We came on a very busy night.. Friday night the food was absolutely wonderful could not have asked for better on the fish fry. My friend had the French dip sandwich and she really enjoyed it! We were able to get some sweatshirts and t-shirts too. Our servers and the owner as well were very friendly. A well run bar/restaurant. Crowd was our age 40s-50s. Highly recommended!

We give this bar 5 stars!  Food and Alicia's service is outstanding as are her jokes!  Don't miss this place.  Tee shirts are extra cute too.

Great bar but service has issues on some days.  The cook Newie at night is alway great and his Thursday night Pad Thai is great and if you like heat ask for it to be spicy.
