Story

Opened May 2014 Fatima's Cafe is a local family owned restaurant by Omar and Fatima Issa. Two native Somalian's born and raised in Kenya want to bring a new culture of eating. To mix their own culture in this very diverse area and churn the melting pot of Worcester in a new direction.

This was my first experience with trying African food and I was very impressed with the service and food. Fatima herself came to give my friend and me personal recommendations from the menu, and the rest of the staff were helpful and courteous. I absolutely loved the samosas. Hands down the best I've ever had. The restaurant is small, but very cozy.

Delicious east African cuisine at bargain prices. Good options for vegan/vegetarians. Black chai tea is delicious and tastes of cinnamon. Will come back next time I'm in area. 5 stars if the service was a little faster, but it's super friendly and food is so good it's worth the wait.

Unique cuisine for the area and a charming staff. The food is an acquired taste, but always worth a try!

The food is fantastic. Get the donuts, they are like beignets, very tasty. Lots of vegetarian options too.
