Honestly loved this place and would love to come back again. The service was fantastic and the waiter we had was terrific at helping us choose a wine to pair with our meal. Loved the roast eggplant appetizer. Also got to try a few of the main dishes - the agnolotti, the ragu, and the canelloni and they were all great. We didn't get to do dessert but the menu for it looked wonderful. Super cozy interior and the atmosphere creates a nice vibe for a cute date or a chill hangout with friends.

A beautiful dining experience! Everything was wonderful from the food & drinks, to the ambience and service. Won’t recommend any particular dishes because honestly everything we tried was delicious! They have a mix of semi-outdoor, indoor, bar, and patio seating and the ambience is perfect for an intimate dinner with friends or even a date night.

A lovely and memorable night! We planned a small wedding dinner with Faun and everything from start to finish was seamless — from planning the pre-fix menu and creatively working with my family’s dietary needs to the amazing and thoughtful service. The food was so good my family is still talking about it days later. The patio space was the perfect backdrop for our dinner and created a cozy and intimate atmosphere for my family to socialize  I only wish we took more photos of the food but you can’t go wrong with any dish!  A huge thank you again to the staff for making this a night to remember and I would highly recommend for anything from a date to a group dinner   Dietary restrictions: They offered gluten-free rice based pasta as an alternative as well as nut-free options for salads on request. It helped immensely that this was all planned in advance so no additional changes need to be made on the day of

We did our little wedding dinner at Faun about a week ago and I want to say thank you so so much! It was exactly what I imagined it to be with the very intimate and comfy atmosphere - inside and outside with their cute backyard. It was our first time there and we made the right choice. The staff was amazing! So kind and caring putting in so much effort to make it a special but warm evening for us. The food was excellent. We decided to do their prix fixe format and had plenty of leftovers to take home. All of our guests loved the food but were almost full after the second course. I cannot recommend Faun enough and we're definitely going to come back!

lovely food, cocktails and atmosphere! maybe don’t sit in the patio in the summer cause mosquitos are quite bad. recommend the burrata, Brussels sprouts with the pomegranate sauce, the black pasta and the banana cocktail.Food: 5/5

Delicious food and drinks. Fish was a little underwhelming, but all the italian classics were unbeatable -- namely the aroncini and tortellini! The foccacia with whipped ricotta was excellent and the drinks were great too.  Vegetarian options: Great salads, veg, and pasta options - plenty to choose from for vegetarians.

Cannot give Faun enough stars!! My husband and I had our wedding and reception here in September and it was perfect. The food was incredible — multiple guests said it was the best food they'd ever eaten at a wedding and one even said it was the best meal they have had! The staff were incredibly attentive, accommodating, flexible and friendly. When a guest unexpectedly needed a dietary accommodation, the staff seamlessly made sure she had a special dish made. The backyard was absolutely stunning and the staff moved furniture multiple times to make the ceremony, dinner and dancing all happen without incident. I cannot recommend Faun enough — whether for a once in a lifetime event or just a weeknight dinner.

Disastrous Dining Experience - Not Worth 4,5 Stars  Oh boy, where do I even begin?..... I had high hopes for this restaurant, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've encountered in my 15 years of exploring restaurants in NY.  Now, I must clarify that the food was indeed fresh and delicious, though the portions were a bit on the small side. The saving grace was the charming garden backyard, which made it a perfect setting for a romantic date.  However, the service was a complete disaster. We waited an excruciatingly long hour for our food to arrive, and our main waiter seemed uninterested, sporting a permanent frown throughout our time there. I had to remind them multiple times to bring us the menus, which was quite frustrating.  Despite the lackluster service, I decided to leave a 15% tip, which I considered generous given the subpar experience. But that's when things took a turn for the worse. One of the restaurant staff, I'm not sure if it was a waiter or the chef, had the audacity to confront me in front of my date about the "ONLY" 15% tip I left. He claimed that the minimum tip should be 18%, which I found outrageous.  At that moment, I regretted even leaving the 15% tip and wanted to take it back. It's absolutely unacceptable to approach a customer and demand more money, especially in front of their companion. It was a low blow and left a bitter taste in my mouth.  To the management, I want to clarify that tips are not granted just to pay a "minimum" 18% service fee. For 18% service charge, the service should be ABSALUTLY AMAZING. It's evident that your staff lacks proper training in hospitality, and they should understand what good service truly means before expecting higher tips.  As a customer, I believe in showing appreciation for good service, but this experience left me feeling cheated and unappreciated. Your waitstaff should be grateful for every penny they receive from customers, not make demands and shame them for not meeting arbitrary tipping standards.  In conclusion, while the food and ambiance were pleasant, the appalling service and audacious behavior of your staff have forever tainted my impression of your establishment. It's disheartening to witness such unprofessionalism in an otherwise promising venue. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the pressing issues in your service department to prevent others from enduring the same regrettable experience.

I almost never leave reviews but my recent experience at Faun was totally bewildering. I have dined here multiple times and mostly found the food to be decent if a little boring.  This time, however, the service was bizarre. We asked if we could get the sunny side up eggs cooked slightly longer so the yolk wouldn’t be runny - our server said it was not possible to have a firm sunny side up egg so we ended up ordering the scramble instead. After receiving the scramble, we asked for salt and pepper. The server only gave us pepper and told us there was no salt ??  The food was fine but I am not sure I will be back because what kind of restaurant doesn’t have salt!

Came here for a date with my husband. The focaccia was amazing! We had two pasta plates. Mine was a bit too salty, but both really good. Great atmosphere and service. Good place for a quiet evening out!Recommended dishesFocaccia
