I was out of town needed to go to the emergency room wasn’t sure if they take my insurance but they did. I had been there before but it has been years. Since DCH took over this is a better hospital. I would recommend.

The staff were proficient and courteous. Both doctor and nurses treated me as if my health was their main concern. My experience was expedient yet thorough, and I'm much better than when I arrived.

Amazing! The people there are wonderful. They joked around with me to keep me calm and when I asked a serious question they were polite and blunt. I loved that. They made the process so comfortable and easy, that I would do it again.

Excellent nursing care with professionalism and customer focus. Facility is clean, staff in all areas is friendly and accommodating to the needs of the patient. I would go there for any medical needs should the need arise.

My Father is in the hospital at this time. The doctor that is attending him knew he had a heart pacer, however, he didn't know that he had a heart doctor. Who do he think put in the pacer? 
He is in the hospital for congestion heart failure and the nurses are supposed to weigh him, take his blood pressure, and monitor his heart. They haven't done that all day. He pulled the leads out during his sleep last night and the nurses haven't even put them on so he hasn't been monitored all day.
Fayette County Hospital (DCH) is the worst place to be if you are sick!
Update:
My Father was released from the hosptal yesterday. Within an hour, the great care of the Home Health Nurse was concern that he was released without medications, because he started retaining fluids again and he still could not breath. My Mother called the hosptial and they told her to bring him back. Instead, they took him to Tuscaloosa where he was placed in the hosptial there for Congested Heart Failure and Pneumonia. He is in worst shape then he was when he enter Fayette Hospital and they released them.
Also, I already email you at the address you gave when I entered the first review. I've yet to hear from you.
