Having grown up in the area, I've visited Fazio's countless times over the years, from the 70's up until now, and I can attest that the restaurant isn't what it used to be - in terms of service. The food and decor hasn't changed much over the years, although the prices seem to creep up year over year. But the most disappointing about Fazio's is the service. SUPER SLOW, having to ask for refills, not removing finished plates, and all the other things one would expect at a finer restaurant. Keep in mind that if you are in a party of 6 or more, the TIP IS INCLUDED in the bill. This old school way of tipping is ENSURING that REGARDLESS of the QUALITY of the waiter or waitress's service - you WILL be paying 18%. Our waiter appeared to be either ill, or going through withdraw, based on the sweat, shakes and horrible service. The prices are outrageous for the area. Skip this one, you can do better elsewhere.

Excellent Italian dishes served evenings for dinner only. Reservations are recommended. Dinner service is definitely a unique dining experience, candles illuminate each table making vibe romantic feel. Semi formal attire to formal

Dated atmosphere and prices are ridiculous!! I ordered a small mushroom and pepper pizza with a salad totaled $25.95!! When I questioned the staff they were rude!! Terrible and slow customer service!!! I would never recommend this restaurant. You can get better Italian food at olive garden!! Very sad!

One of my favorite restaurants in all of Charleston! Service is slow but great (expect that) and the food is wonderful. Best steaks in Charleston!

I have been going to Fazio's since I was a little girl, and now that I live on the other side of the country I make a point to eat here when I visit the area. The atmosphere is great for a family dinner, date night, special occasions, and group outings. The food is the best Italian cuisine in Charleston, hands down. It's absolutely nothing like the massive amounts of chain restaurants, which is quite refreshing. When you come here you are guaranteed a great meal and to be treated like family.
