In summary: Very easy to work with. FB came recommended by our developer who uses them often. They sent someone out ahead of time to write up an estimate for the work to be completed. I liked knowing what my costs would be up front so I wasn’t surprised when I got the final bill. We did a bunch of recessed lights, added outlets.”, added the nest in 3 places and added outdoor lights. The electrician (Tim) was wonderful. He showed up on time and really involved me in the process when I needed to be involved. He helped me understand how to reduce my energy costs as well. Would highly recommend working with FB and plan to do so again soon.

I had a very bad experience with this company and was left feeling like they're untrustworthy and were trying to invent charges and inflate their fees. Our appointment was scheduled for 8am, but no one showed up and we had to both call and email the company before finally hearing back at noon. The technician was ultimately 5.5 hours late. We weren't told a new arrival time by the company, so he had to wait a few minutes for me to come back from walking the dog to let him in. When I got the invoice (while he was still there, which was odd), they tried to charge us for 40-50 minutes of him waiting outside, which had not happened. They also tacked on "30 minutes of travel time" in the invoice, which had never been mentioned before. The hourly rate was originally quoted as $130 (they asked for a one-hour deposit when scheduling) and in the invoice sent on the day of the work, the hourly rate had changed to $150. I had to make at least five phone calls and send at least that many emails to get an accurate invoice that reflected the time he spent at our house, at the hourly rate we were originally quoted. I also could not get a representative on the phone, but rather got email responses to each call I made. Overall, it felt very sketchy and unprofessional. I would not use this company again or recommend them to friends or neighbors. I hope to find a truly trustworthy local electrician instead.

Great communication. Willing to work to resolve issues even outside of business hours. Professional estimate and installation experience. Tidy work all round. Highly recommended.
