This is the ONLY place I will go to clean my clothes. The place is super clean, the staff is always available, you can buy all your detergent needs there (they have a really big selection to choose from). It's a card laundromat and what that means is you put $ in this machine and it gives you a card that's only good for this place. Small washer is like $5, the medium sized one is like $7, the large one is like $8 and the extra large one is like $10. For every washer you use you get free dryer time, it's really cool.

WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to get your things STOLEN or be a victim of a crime. In fact, stay FAR AWAY from any public place on Federal Street in Camden, NJ, especially if you have options. I happen to be a resident of Camden and I am warning others. Camden is not the safest place in the world, but this laundromat is in a very dangerous area of the city. DO NOT trust the 5 star ratings! There are LOTS of thieves, criminals, drug addicts, and homeless people that loiter around your car and inside the place looking to rob you, break inside of your car, or STEAL your clothes and belongings. The place is highly unregulated and the owner doesn’t monitor a thing outside of her office. The machines do not always work well or at all. The washing machine prices are high and are always increasing. The place isn’t clean and there’s always dirt, hair, and weird residue on the folding tables. The bathroom is filthy and always locked because homeless people try to shoot up or live in them. And the laundromat’s surveillance cameras DO NOT EVEN WORK, so if you do become victim of a crime, then you are screwed and SOL. The Camden County cops won’t care and the Federal Laundromat’s owner Laurie won’t either. Other places nearby barely have surveillance cameras at all. As of 2017, there has been a HUGE increase in theft and assaults in the area. There are also LOTS of unreported and undocumented crimes. I recently saw a commercial advertising the Federal Laundromat like it was the best Laundromat in the world, which is FAR from the truth. It is irresponsible for the owner to greenlight this and HIGHLY MISLEADING. There are LOADS of homeless people and drug addicts that surround the area. In fact, the Federal Laundromat is nearby several soup kitchens and homeless shelters. TL;DR – DO NOT go to the Federal Laundromat or any other ones on Federal Street in Camden unless you want to be a target of a crime or have your stuff stolen. The selfish owner only wants your money and does not care if anything happens to you as they DO NOT feel like they are responsible. If you ever need help from the police, the cops will act powerless. This area is NOT safe. You have been warned.
